Ever made a bar of soap just because you were curious—and ended up discovering your calling?

That’s exactly how Sheaxeen Soapery began.

One quiet school holiday, Jameela came across an article on DIY soapmaking. A little research and a first batch later, she gifted an oatmeal soap to her aunt—a nurse whose hands were worn from constant washing.

The response was immediate: softer skin, heartfelt thanks, and a realization that skincare could be something truly meaningful.

 What started as a curious experiment quickly turned into a full-blown passion for creating products that feel good, smell amazing, and truly care for your skin.  

 Today, Sheaxeen Soapery is still guided by that same purpose: to turn everyday routines into moments of care and calm. From buttery soaps to silky oils and fizzy bath treats, everything is handmade with joy, intention, and a touch of magic.

Meet Jameela, the heart & hands behind Sheaxeen

Hi! I’m Jameela—soap enthusiast, ingredient nerd, and the maker behind Sheaxeen Soapery.

My journey began about eight years ago, during a lazy school holiday. While flipping through channels, I came across an article about making your own soap. I was instantly hooked. A few rabbit holes and lots of research later, I made my first batch: an oatmeal soap for my aunt, a nurse whose hands were in desperate need of some love.

She loved it. Her colleagues loved it. And I? I did a few happy dances and kept making more.

What started as a fun DIY experiment quickly became my passion. I dove deeper, eventually earning a Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation from Formula Botanica (yes, I’m officially certified to nerd out about ingredients and formulation!). But more than the piece of paper, what I love most is still this: handpicking ingredients that nourish the skin and smell absolutely dreamy.

For me, it’s about creating little moments of joy—products that feel good, do good, and maybe even turn your bathroom into a spa (if only for a few minutes!).

So that’s me. Still mixing, pouring, wrapping, and dancing—with love, always.
